Authorne was born from a desire to celebrate the power of personal stories. We see story as a means of connection—a thread through time, a link between people, a spark that keeps memory alive.

We believe jewelry holds the power to tell those stories. Our name—a fusion of author and adorn—reflects the place where narrative & form meet and our designs come to life. Each piece is rich with meaning, meant to honor the beauty of the personal. For us, no memory is too small or moment too fleeting to preserve in gold.

Founded by sculptor Rachel Bu, our designs carry an artist’s eye and dedication to detail. Authorne’s story began with the Mother Chain–a gold necklace Rachel’s mother bought for herself while pregnant, a symbol of independence and celebration. She passed it down years later when Rachel became a mother herself, forming the first link in what would become Authorne’s story. 

The Mother Chain’s dimensional form inspired our signature design language, but its spirit defined something larger: the belief that legacy isn’t just inherited, it’s made. For us, it’s not about honoring what has been, but what is begun. Within every design lies the start of something new–a legacy and story brought to life each time the jewelry is worn.
