Authorne x ETRO
Motherhood | Celebration | Intergenerational
In May of 2024, ETRO and Authorne co-hosted a celebration in honor ofMother’s Day, which took place at ETRO's flagship Upper East Side location. The event showcased ETRO's first-ever children's line which was complemented by an artful display of new pieces from Authorne’s Mother Chain jewelry collection.
The event offered guests a first glimpse of the extended collection of the Mother Chain. Authorne recently introduced a new element to the Mother Chain collection: a sculptural lock. The Mother Chain lock allows the Mother Chain wearer to interchange various chains, offering the opportunity to wear the piece as a bracelet or layered as a multi-strand necklace.
The lock encourages its wearers to further personalize their Mother Chain and will be launched through a retail partner later this year.
For the event, teddy bears clad in ETRO’s iconic paisley fabrics sat amidst beautiful displays of the brand’s first-ever children’s collection. New pavé gemstone chains and locks were presented by Authorne.
Shimmering beneath glass cloche jars staged amidst their own imagined ecosystems, or within the chrome-rimmed glass display cases throughout the boutique, the Mother Chain pieces complemented the celebration, offering gifts for the mothers alongside the iconic children’s wares.
The event featured sculptural ikebana floral arrangements, bespoke chocolates, and artfully rendered confectionery modeled after the Authorne brand motifs.
Notable guests in attendance included GRISORO Studio Founder Gabriela Gargano, Fashion Stylist and Consultant Natalia Zemliakova, ETRO Americas CEO Dan Rothmann, celebrity Bespoke Tailor Michael Andrews, Lithuanian singer and songwriter Neringa Siaudikyte, UNISECON Creative Director and Founder Shuyi Jiang, among others. The occasion was catered by chefs Jenna and Joshua Walbolt, who recently appeared on Hulu’s Secret Chef, and featured food and beverage featuring Imperia Royal Ossetra Caviar, select mocktails, tarts, cookies and candies in collaboration with EATGOODNYC Bakery.
